Soul Sisters Women’s Ministry
2025 Soul Sisters Women’s Ministry Annual Report
A group of seven women had a vision in 2024 and made it a reality. There was a deep desire for belonging, companionship, and encouragement—something deeper than casual connection and more intentional than occasional gatherings. After months of prayerful planning, conversation, and collaboration, we crafted both a mission statement and a plan:
"GSP Soul Sisters provides women with the opportunity to connect with each other for times of companionship, belonging and encouragement. We welcome all women; including cis, trans, femme-spirited, and women of all ages and stages of life.”
As a result of our hard work, dedication, and planning, we launched two gatherings in the fall of 2024, with an average of 24 women. These early gatherings affirmed what we already hoped: the desire for connection was real, and the community we imagined was beginning to take shape.
In 2025, we continued our monthly gatherings with renewed energy and creativity. We opened the year with the theme “Haiku: Belonging,” exploring the topic of Belonging and creating a booklet of our Belonging Haiku. The months that followed were shaped by themes that fostered reflection, spiritual growth, and creative engagement, including:
• “Blooms of Friendship” – celebrating growth, renewal, and connection
• “Loving Earth Together” – honoring creation and our shared responsibility
• “Soul Collage: Mothering Ourselves” – tending to inner compassion and self-care
• “Agape Meal” – sharing food, gratitude, and fellowship
• “Treasure of Hope” and “Words of Wisdom”
• Times of Service, giving back as a community
• And joyful Social gatherings, simply to be together
In 2026, we stepped into the new year with our first retreat: “Finding Joy in Times of Crisis,” led by Rev. Dr. Delle McCormick. This retreat marked a moment of deeper reflection and spiritual grounding, strengthening the bonds being formed and guiding us toward a future filled with purpose and hope.
What began as a simple idea is blossoming into a community where every woman is seen, valued, and welcomed. Together, we commit to walking alongside one another—celebrating victories, supporting through struggles, and cultivating a circle of genuine sisterhood.
Celebrating Life Together in Community! All women are welcome.
