The Committee met on Monday, 7/27, and we are very close to completing a final draft of the Parish Profile and the specific information required for Vocation Hub, the Episcopal Church's official churchwide digital platform for managing clergy placement. At our next meeting in two weeks (8/10), our goal is to finalize the draft, complete the Vocation Hub template, and share both with The Rev. Canon Robert Phillips, Interim Canon to the Ordinary and Deployment Officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. Canon Robert will then update the final version to be published online.
July 13,2026
On July 13, the Search Committee met in person with The Rev. Canon Robert Phillips, who reviewed our draft responses to the questions on Vocation Hub, the Episcopal Church's official digital platform for managing clergy placement. Canon Robert asked a series of thought-provoking questions that helped us sharpen our answers -- making them more focused, candid, and effective in conveying who we are and what we are looking for in our next rector.
The meeting was a productive and energizing evening of discussion that has positioned us well to complete both our Vocation Hub responses and our Parish Profile. We anticipate submitting our final drafts by the end of August.
June 16, 2026
On June 15 the Search Committee met and made good progress on drafting answers for Vocation Hub, the Episcopal Church's official, churchwide digital platform for managing clergy placement, ministry transitions, and vocational discernment. We have also begun adding photos to the Parish Profile draft.
June 1, 2026
The committee has been meeting via Zoom every other week since April 20 and is making substantial progress on the Parish Profile.
On June 1, we met via Zoom with The Rev. Canon Dr. Robert T. Phillips of the Office of Deployment in the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona. Canon Phillips introduced us to Vocation Hub, the Episcopal Church's official, churchwide digital platform for managing clergy placement, ministry transitions, and vocational discernment. He walked us through the template of questions we are required to answer on Vocation Hub, and the committee is currently working on drafting those responses.
We are scheduled to meet with Canon Phillips in person on July 13, at which time he will review our Parish Profile draft and our draft responses to the Vocation Hub questions.
